Design styles

Eight directions,
all of them built.

Every style here is illustrated with work this house actually delivered, named and linked. If a direction is not on this page, it is because we have not made one yet — which is a more useful thing to know than a page of stock photographs.

01

Why there are only eight.

A style page is worth reading only if it shows you the thing. Most of them do not — they show stock photography of somebody else's wedding, which tells you nothing about what the studio would actually make for you.

So these eight are the directions the house has genuinely built, each linked to the commissions that prove it. Art deco is not here, and that is deliberate: we have not designed one, and a page illustrated with bought pictures would be exactly the thing this page is arguing against. When we make one, it will appear.

A style is a starting point, not the brief. Every commission here began as two moodboard worlds built from one client's own event — the venue, the season, the people, the reason. None of them started by picking a style off a list. These pages exist to give you vocabulary for a conversation, not a menu to order from.
