Comparar
How we compare,
including when we lose.
Comparison pages are usually written to win. These are written to be right, which means saying plainly where another product is the better answer — because for a good number of people, it is.
01
Three different products get compared to us, and only one of them is really a competitor.
Template platforms sell speed and a low price. Design marketplaces sell a catalogue of finished work, printed and shipped. Registry-led wedding sites give the tools away and make their money elsewhere. Evorrah commissions an original identity and includes guest management.
Those are four business models, not four versions of one thing. Most people arriving at a comparison page have already picked a model without realising it — so the useful question is rarely "which is best" but "which of these am I actually shopping for".
02
The comparisons.
Paperless Post alternatives
Three reasons people look for one, and the three different answers — two of which are not us.
Evorrah vs Minted
A marketplace that prints and ships, against a studio that designs and runs the guest side.
Evorrah vs Zola
Free registry-led tools against a paid commission — and why the answer is often "both".
Evorrah vs Partiful
When the invitation is the whole job — and when it is only the first of sixteen pieces.
Evorrah vs Evite
Free digital invitations are right for most invitations. Here is the case where they are not.
Evorrah vs Greenvelope
The closest comparison: a design chosen from a collection, or one drawn for your event.
Evorrah vs a wedding website builder
Free builders start with the site. A design house starts with the look the site should wear.
Evorrah vs doing it yourself
DIY survives one beautiful card. It breaks at piece four, and at the printer.
Evorrah vs a freelance designer
The only other way to get something original. The difference is what happens after the files.
Digital vs printed invitations
The format decision itself, separately from who makes them.
03
When Evorrah is the wrong choice.
Stated here rather than buried, because you will work it out anyway and it is better said upfront.
- You want printed cards delivered to your door. We do not print or ship. You get print-ready files and take them to a printer. For many people that alone settles it.
- You want one invitation and nothing else. Our smallest suite is three designs. If you genuinely want a single card, a marketplace serves you better.
- You need it tomorrow. Two moodboards come back within 48 hours and the suite in five business days. That is fast for a commission and slow compared with picking a template tonight.
- You want a free wedding website and a registry. We have no registry, and our website is a paid add-on. A registry-led platform does that job well and costs nothing.
How we compare. These pages describe business models rather than feature lists, and quote no prices or current capabilities for other companies — those change frequently, and a stale claim about a competitor is worse than no claim at all. Every Evorrah figure is read from our own pricing contract. Check current details with any provider before deciding, including us.
Who is writing this. Evorrah publishes this page and sells one of the options on it, which is a reason to read it sceptically. The answer to that is not to pretend otherwise but to be checkable: every Evorrah figure above appears on the pricing page, limitations included — we do not print or ship, the event website is a paid add-on, and two revision rounds are included rather than unlimited. Where we think a competitor is the better choice, this page says so. If anything here is wrong or has gone out of date, write to hello@evorrah.com and we will correct it.
Or skip the comparison and look at the work.
