Evorrah
vs Evite.
The free, high-volume digital invitation is one of the genuinely useful inventions of the last twenty years. It is also completely wrong for some events. This page is about telling the two apart before you spend anything.
Is Evorrah better than Evite?
Not for the job Evite is for. Free, template-based digital invitations are the right tool for most invitations most of the time, and no design house should pretend otherwise. Evorrah is for the event where the design has to be original and has to hold across many pieces — and where several hundred guests need managing, seating and letting in. Those are different jobs, not better and worse ones.
01
The honest test.
Ask what happens to the design after the invitation is sent. If the answer is "nothing — people turn up", a template is not a compromise, it is sufficient, and every pound you spend beyond it buys you nothing.
If the answer is a menu, a seating chart, signage at the door, place cards, an order of service, a website and a thank-you card, then the invitation was never the deliverable. The deliverable was a look, and a look that only exists on one card is not a look.
Which one is yours?
| If your reason is… | What you actually want | Is Evorrah it? |
|---|---|---|
| "I want to send an invitation without paying" | A free digital invitation tool. Use one. | No. Genuinely — do not spend money here. |
| "I want it to feel considered, not picked" | An original design rather than a template chosen from a grid. | Yes. Nothing here is a template; each suite is drawn from your brief. |
| "I have 300 guests and it is getting away from me" | Households, replies, dietary needs, seating and a door list in one place. | Yes, and it is included with every suite rather than sold separately. |

Where free wins, and it is not close
Cost, speed, familiarity and reach. Everyone has received one, nobody needs instructions, and the price is zero. For a school fundraiser, a birthday, a housewarming or a work drinks, that is the whole answer.

Where a commission earns its money
When the event has a name and a look, when there are nine to sixteen pieces, and when the guest list is large enough that managing it by spreadsheet has already gone wrong once. The design is drawn once and then carried — onto paper, onto each guest's own card, onto the website, onto the seating plan and onto the door.

What you are actually paying for.
Two complete moodboard directions within 48 hours, built to disagree with each other. You pick one, or say what did not work and we draw again — two rounds of changes are included.
Then every piece in your plan size, built from the direction you approved: 3, 6, 9, 12 or 16 pieces depending on the suite, delivered print-ready in five business days.
And the guest side — households, per-guest personalisation, RSVP tracking, seating, messages and event-day check-in — included, not a subscription.
We do not print. You get print-ready files with a specification sheet and take them to any printer you like. That is usually cheaper than a bundled printing service, and it means you are never locked to one supplier's stock, sizes or turnaround.
