Free wedding website builders are genuinely good and enormously popular, and most couples should use one. This page is about the specific case where the website is the wrong place to start.
Do I need Evorrah if I already have a free wedding website?
Probably not, if the website is the main thing you need. Free builders cover the site, the registry and a guest list very capably. Evorrah is for couples whose stationery matters — where there is a printed suite as well as a site, and both have to look like the same wedding. Our event website is an add-on that wears the design you approved; it is not the reason to come here.

Which came first — the site or the look?
A website builder starts with the site and offers you themes for it. That is the right order when the site is the centre of your communication and the paper is minimal or absent.
A design house starts with the identity. The invitation is drawn first, and everything after it — the menu, the place cards, the signage, the seating plan, the site — is that same design applied. Started this way round, the website is not a theme you picked; it is your invitation, online.
Neither order is superior in the abstract. It depends entirely on whether there is a printed suite in your wedding, and how much you care that it matches.

The website is generated from the suite you approved, so the typeface, the palette and the motif are the same objects rather than approximations. And because the guest list lives in the same place as the design, each guest's page can carry their own table, their own language and their own arrival time.

The honest limits.
No registry. We do not run gift registries and have no plans to. If that is central, keep the builder for it — the two can coexist.
The website is an add-on. It is not included in the suite price; it is an optional extra on top.
We are not free. A wedding suite starts at $449. If the site is all you need, that money buys you nothing you do not already have.
You can do both. Nothing stops you keeping a free builder for the registry and commissioning the stationery here. Plenty of couples do. The thing worth avoiding is two sources of truth for the guest list — pick one place for the names and let the other read from it.
