Evorrah
vs Minted.

These are not competing versions of the same product. One is a marketplace that prints and ships beautiful cards; the other is a studio that designs an identity and runs the guest side. The choice is mostly about which of those you need.

Should I use Minted or Evorrah?

Choose a marketplace like Minted if you want to browse finished designs and have printed cards delivered to your door — that is a real convenience and it is not something we offer. Choose Evorrah if you want an original design made for your event and guest management included, and you are willing to arrange printing yourself.

02

Where a marketplace is genuinely the better choice.

If you want printed cards delivered without arranging a printer, a marketplace is straightforwardly better and you should use one. We do not print or ship, and pretending that is a minor detail would be dishonest — for many people it is the whole reason to buy stationery from a company rather than a studio.

It is also better if you want to see exactly what you are getting before you spend anything. Browsing finished designs is a very different experience from commissioning, and some people strongly prefer it. Nothing about that is a compromise.

03

Where the difference starts to matter.

  • When the event has more than a card. A menu, place cards, table numbers, welcome signage and a website all have to look like one thing. Buying each from a catalogue means matching them by eye; commissioning means they descend from one approved design.
  • When you have a lot of guests. Past roughly a hundred and fifty, the hard part stops being the card and starts being the list — who replied, who is in which household, who eats what, who sits where. That is where per-card pricing and separate guest tools start to hurt.
  • When you want each guest addressed personally. One design printed two hundred times cannot carry two hundred names, tables and codes. That is a structural difference, not a quality one.
  • When the price should not scale with the guest list. One payment per event behaves very differently from a per-card price once the numbers get large.

How we compare. This page compares business models, which are stable and publicly evident. It deliberately quotes no prices, feature counts or current capabilities for any other company — those change often, and an out-of-date claim about a competitor is worse than no claim. Evorrah's own figures come from our pricing contract. Verify current details with any provider, including us, before you decide.

Who is writing this. Evorrah publishes this page and sells one of the options on it, which is a reason to read it sceptically. The answer to that is not to pretend otherwise but to be checkable: every Evorrah figure above appears on the pricing page, limitations included — we do not print or ship, the event website is a paid add-on, and two revision rounds are included rather than unlimited. Where we think a competitor is the better choice, this page says so. If anything here is wrong or has gone out of date, write to hello@evorrah.com and we will correct it.

Common questions

Can I get printed invitations from Evorrah?
Not printed by us. You receive print-ready files with bleed, crop marks and a printer specification, and take them to a printer of your choice. Many clients find a local letterpress or foil printer produces something better than a mass production line, but it is an extra step and you should count it as one.
Is a commissioned suite more expensive?
It depends entirely on your guest count. A per-card price multiplied by three hundred guests behaves very differently from a single fee, and the crossover point moves with the size of your list and how many pieces you need. Our grid runs $149 to $3,099 per event.
What if I only want an invitation and nothing else?
Then a marketplace may well suit you better, and we would rather say so. Our Starter suite is three designs — if you genuinely want one card and nothing around it, you are not buying what we are best at.
Do I need to write a brief?
Yes — there is a briefing form, and it is the part that makes the design yours. It takes most clients twenty minutes or so. If that sounds like friction rather than a good use of time, a catalogue is the better fit.

Judge it on the work, not the description.

The showroom holds complete commissions — invitation, menu, place cards, signage — for weddings, galas, launches and more, so you can see what "one identity" actually means in practice.
