A guest taps the link and an envelope arrives — their name on the front, the seal lifting, your card revealing itself line by line, ending on a reply they can send without leaving the page. It is made from the artwork you already approved. Not a template your design was poured into.

Addressed to them by name, in the same hand as the paper one, on the paper colour you chose.
The seal
Your monogram, holding it shut, until they tap. It lifts at the pace your design asks for — not a stock speed.
The card
Your invitation, revealing itself in the order it was built: the names, the date, the place, the line at the bottom.
The reply
A panel your designer placed, not one bolted on. They answer there, and it lands in your guest list.
It is your artwork moving —
not a preset applied to it.
This is the whole difference, and it is a mechanical one rather than a matter of taste. A template platform has one animation and applies it to everything you upload. Here the motion is generated from the design: the same stylesheet your designer wrote, read back and set moving.
So the type is your type, at your weight, in your colour — because there is one copy of that styling and it belongs to your design. Nothing has been re-drawn to make it move.
Some designs refuse to move, and we let them. Every design we make declares how it behaves; when one says this world does not move, the opening honours it — no rotation, no bounce, no overshoot.
The pace is measured too: a card that is mostly empty space is objectively a quiet card and gets a slower reveal. Nobody sets a speed slider.

Every guest gets their own —
and it never holds up your printing.
The same merge that puts each guest’s name on their printed card puts it on their envelope here — with their own greeting, their table, and a reply link that is theirs alone. One link per guest, sent however you already talk to them.
It plays once, then rests. Your guests watch the envelope open the first time they arrive. Every visit after that shows the still invitation, so nobody sits through the reveal twice.
The opening is a companion to your suite, not one of its pieces. It is not one of the designs you chose, it does not use one of your slots, and your printed suite is never waiting on it. Nothing reaches a guest until you have said yes.
And there is no sound. Deliberately, and permanently — a guest opening this on a train or beside a sleeping child should never have to find the mute button.
The opening comes with Whole Event and Fully Handled, and is a $59 add-on on Essentials — once per event, added from your portal after your designs are signed off. Either way it is built from the designs you have already approved — your own paper, ink and type in motion — and it never replaces your printed pieces.
