These two are not really competing. One exists to get an invitation out in ninety seconds and gather replies in a group chat. The other exists to design something nobody has seen before and carry it through to the door. Most people know within one question which they need.
Should I use Partiful or Evorrah?
If the invitation is the whole job — a party, soon, free, and the design is not the point — a fast social tool is the right answer and you should use one. Evorrah is for the other case: when the event has a look you care about, that look has to appear on nine or sixteen different pieces, and several hundred people have to be invited, replied to, seated and let in. If you would not pay for a designer, do not pay us.

The question that separates them.
Is the invitation the event, or the beginning of one?
For a great many parties the invitation is the whole administrative task. Somebody needs to know where and when, they tap yes, and the rest happens in person. Free, fast, social tools are extremely good at that, and paying a design house for it would be silly.
An event where the invitation is only the first of many pieces is a different animal. There is a menu. There are place cards. There is signage at the door, an order of service, table numbers, a website, a seating plan, and 180 people who each need to be told something slightly different. At that point what you are buying is not an invitation — it is one visual identity, and a system that keeps it consistent from the save-the-date to the thank-you.

Speed, cost and the casual register. Nothing to brief, nothing to approve, no five-day wait, and no money. For a birthday drinks or a Sunday lunch that is not a compromise — it is the correct tool, and reaching for a design house instead would be the mistake.

Where we honestly lose.
Speed. Two moodboard directions take 48 hours and the full suite five business days. If your event is on Saturday, we cannot help.
Price. We start at $149 and go up with the number of pieces. Free is a very good price and we are not competing with it.
Casualness. Some events are supposed to feel thrown together. A drawn identity would make them worse.
One thing worth knowing either way. Whatever you send with, guest data is guest data. If you are handling several hundred people's names, addresses and dietary needs, it is worth asking any tool where that sits and how long it is kept. Ours is on the security page.
