Compare

Evorrah vs a
freelance designer.

This is the closest true comparison, because it is the only other way to get something original. The difference is not talent — plenty of freelancers draw better than anyone you will meet. It is what happens after the files are delivered.

Should I hire a freelance designer or use Evorrah?

Hire a freelancer if you want a specific person's hand, if you want to work closely over weeks, or if your project is unusual enough to need a conversation rather than a process. Come here if you want original design AND the guest side running from it — the list, the replies, the seating, the personalised cards and the door — without appointing a second supplier and reconciling two systems.

01

Where most freelance projects end.

A freelance commission usually ends at the files. That is not a criticism — it is the scope, correctly drawn. You receive artwork, you are delighted, and then you go and do the rest.

The rest is where events go wrong. The website ends up in a different typeface because it was built by somebody else from a screenshot. The seating chart lives in a spreadsheet that does not know about the households. The place cards get printed the week before from a list nobody can find, and two guests are missing.

None of that is a design failure. It is a handover failure, and it happens because the design and the guest list were never in the same place.

Which is yours?

If your reason is…What you actually wantIs Evorrah it?
"I want to work with this particular person"That person.No. Hire them — that is a real reason.
"I want something original"A bespoke commission from either.Either. Compare the work, not the model.
"I also have 300 guests to manage"Design and guest management sharing one source of truth.Yes. That is the difference here.
"I need it in five days"A defined process rather than a diary.Yes. Two directions in 48 hours, suite in five business days.

What a freelancer gives you

A relationship, a specific sensibility, and the flexibility of a person rather than a process. If your event is genuinely unusual, or you already know whose work you want, this is the better hire and we would tell you so.

With Evorrah

What the house adds after the artwork

The same design becomes the guest list, the replies, the households, the seating plan, every guest's personalised card in their own language, the QR at the door and the record of who actually came. Nothing is re-keyed, and there is no second supplier to reconcile.

04

Cost, stated plainly.

A commission here is $149 to $3,099 — one payment, by occasion and piece count, with the guest platform included and nothing recurring.

Freelance rates vary far too much for us to quote fairly, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. What is fair to say is that the two are usually the same order of magnitude for a full suite, and that the difference is what arrives with it.

Where we are the weaker choice, plainly. You do not choose your designer here, and you do not get weeks of back-and-forth — the process is two directions in 48 hours, then two rounds of changes. That is deliberate, and it is the wrong shape for somebody who wants to collaborate closely on every decision.

Straight answers.

Do I get to speak to the designer?
You brief in writing and your messages go to your event's own thread in the portal, which the designer reads. There is no phone line — everything stays in one place attached to your event. For corporate and large events we will book a call before you commission.
How many revisions?
Two reworks of the directions if neither lands, and then two rounds of changes across the suite.
Who owns the artwork?
You receive print-ready and digital files for your event, and they are yours to print wherever and however you like.
Can you work to an existing brand?
Yes — for brand launches and corporate events that is the usual case. Bring the brand and we design the event's identity inside it.

Compare the work, not the model.

Fifty-three finished commissions, every piece openable. Judge it the way you would judge a portfolio.
