Matilda is Six
The Walled Garden at Foxcote House

Ninety guests, thirty-eight of them under ten, in the Walled Garden at Foxcote House. A children’s party is secretly one of the hardest guest operations there is — allergies, school politics, nap times, and parents’ group chats. Matilda’s mother saw none of it.
What we handled
The whole flow
From the first brief to arrival.
The brief
Matilda is six, and the theme is the garden itself. Nine designs — invitations addressed to the children, information written for the parents.
One RSVP, two audiences
Each family’s RSVP captured the child’s attendance, the accompanying adults, and the allergy line in a single link — no forms, no group-chat archaeology.
The allergy matrix
Nut-free by default; every plate, favor bag and cake table mapped against 38 children’s dietary lines. The caterer got a matrix, not a message thread.
Chickenpox
Four families dropped in forty-eight hours. Counts corrected, favor bags re-tallied, the bouncy-castle schedule loosened — and four get-well cards in the party’s own design went out instead.
Parents, briefed
Arrival, parking, weather plan and pickup times sent to every household — the questions answered before the class WhatsApp could ask them.
Matilda is six
Ninety guests in the walled garden, a cake with six candles, and a mother who watched her daughter instead of a checklist.
