Her brief, delivered to me with great seriousness over breakfast: strawberries, rabbits, a treasure hunt, and "the fancy kind of lemonade with the paper straws." The walled garden belongs to her grandparents and she has picked strawberries there every summer of her life. The party is a strawberry picnic in the exact corner where she does it. Two things worth knowing before you post.
Post after the invitations land. Replies are due back by 14 August, so the invitations go out well
ahead of that — wait about a week after they arrive. A child who sees this before their own
envelope has been told twice, and the first time did not include them.
Post the file as it is. No crop, no filter, no added frame. It is a watercolour, and a filter
flattens the very variation the painting is for — every platform re-compresses once, so anything
done to it first is compressed twice.
