Organise your
guest list.

Paste the names you have, however messy. This groups them into households, counts the people, and flags the entries that will cause a wrong headcount later.

How do I organise a guest list?

Group it into households first — everyone who receives one invitation together — then list the people inside each one. Invitations and addressing are counted per household; catering and seating are counted per person. Keeping both counts is what stops the headcount and the print order disagreeing.

Paste your list.

One household per line. It understands "Sam and Priya Okonkwo", "The Harpers", and "Daniel Reyes +1".

Nothing you paste leaves your device. This runs entirely in your browser — there is no upload, no account and no server involved. Close the tab and it is gone.

01

What it flags, and why those two things.

  • Possible duplicates. Lists assembled from several sources — your phone, a parent's list, a spreadsheet from a friend — reliably contain the same household twice under slightly different names. It reports them rather than merging them, because two people genuinely do share a name and a tool that quietly merged them would delete a real guest.
  • Entries counted as one. "The Harpers" is a family, but nothing in those two words says how many people. It counts as one until you say otherwise, and it is flagged — this is the single commonest reason a final headcount comes out lower than the room.

Common questions

Is my guest list uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool is a script running in your own browser; there is no request to any server, and nothing is stored. You can confirm it by opening the page with your network disconnected — it works exactly the same.
Can I export the result?
Not yet — copy the figures for now. A structured export is on the list, and it is the natural point at which this becomes a real guest list rather than a count.
How should I write plus-ones?
"Daniel Reyes +1" works, and counts two people in one household. Once you know the guest's name, write it out in full — you will need it for the place card.
What if a household should reply individually?
Some do — adult siblings at a parent's address, for example. This tool counts invitations, so they remain one household; the distinction matters at reply time, which is covered in the households guidance.

Keep this list for the whole event.

The same list becomes your addresses, your invitations, your replies and your seating plan. Evorrah holds it once — households, dietary notes, languages and all — and carries it to the next occasion.
