Two families, two shores of the Mediterranean, and one running argument — Palermo or Marseille — that became the identity of the whole wedding. Sixteen designs, a three-day weekend, and not one spreadsheet in the couple’s hands.

The brief
One conversation with the couple. The argument itself — Palermo or Marseille — became the creative direction: a wedding styled as a debate, La Discussione. Sixteen pieces planned across three days.
The identity, green-lit
Save the dates went out, one addressed copy per household. The website launched the same week — one link for both families, every schedule and travel note on it, so nothing had to be asked twice.
214 guests, organized
Ninety-six households built with plus-ones, children, dietary lines and travel plans. RSVP waves opened by country so the two families never waited on each other.
Zia Franca’s table grows
A table of eight became eleven when three cousins decided Sicily was worth the flight. Seating redrawn, the welcome dinner recounted, the caterer renotified — the couple approved one new layout and did nothing else.
The chase, invisible
Forty-one silent households were reminded — politely, at their own hour, in their own time zone. Final count locked at 214 without the couple sending a single message.
Run-of-show, three days deep
Welcome aperitivo, ceremony, and the farewell lunch — timelines, vendor calls, and arrival lists for each day. QR check-in prepared for the ceremony and the gala dinner.
Palermo won. Nobody lost.
Three days at Villa Tasca ran to the minute. The couple’s only jobs: choose, approve, and dance. The debate ended the way it should — at the table.
