Every piece below is the actual delivered artwork, not a mock-up of it. The panel that follows is live: put a name in it and watch each piece take the guest line it would carry in a real print run. Nothing else on any card moves.

The finished suite
Nine pieces. And then one hundred and sixty-five of each.
A wedding suite is not nine designs. It is nine designs multiplied by every guest who receives one — each with their own name set into the card, their own table, their own dinner. Doing that by hand is where beautiful stationery usually stops being beautiful.
Every piece below is the actual delivered artwork, not a mock-up of it. The panel that follows is live: put a name in it and watch each piece take the guest line it would carry in a real print run. Nothing else on any card moves.

Not decoration — every one of these has a job, and they are the same inks the nine pieces below are printed in. Turquoise is the one cool note in a warm suite: a single mark per card, never a second. Where it has to carry actual words it deepens to #3A6868 so it can be read.

Invitation
What the platform sets
One salutation line, set in the card's own italic, above the line the couple wrote.
Everything else is the delivered artwork, untouched.
{{GREETING}}{{GUEST_NAME}}{{#if plus_one}}
Each guest's own code. It is not printed on this card — the delivered
design has no QR zone — but it is what the reply card and the badge carry, and it
is live: scan it.

Place Cards
What the platform sets
This piece was always personalised — it shipped showing six real guests. The first
card now takes your name and your table; the other five are the suite as delivered.
{{GUEST_NAME}}{{TABLE_NAME}}
A forty-character name has to sit as well as a six-character
one. The composition is tested at both ends before a suite ships.

Menu Card
What the platform sets
A single courtesy line under the header — for the guest — in the card's own
small caps. The courses are exactly as they were printed.

Reply Card
What the platform sets
The card was drawn with a blank M ____ line to be written
on by hand. The platform simply fills it — same line, same rule, no redesign.
{{GUEST_NAME}}{{RSVP_QR}}
The same guest code again. A shared code would land every guest on the same reply
page, so each card carries its own.

Seating Chart
What the platform sets
The design supplies the typography and the rules; the guest list supplies the tables.
Move yourself between tables in the panel and the board is correct again.
{{SEATING_CHART_TABLES}}
The strictest piece in the suite: without the placeholder,
generation fails outright rather than printing a board with a hole in it.

Rehearsal Dinner
What the platform sets
Same Field Study language, lighter in tone, and a shorter list — only the guests
invited to the night before receive one.

Ceremony Programme
A shared piece
Not every piece should be personalised. An order of service is the same for the whole
room, so it carries no tokens at all — one design, one print run.
no placeholders
Knowing which pieces to leave alone is part of the work. A
name on a programme would be noise.

The numeral is set heavy so it reads from across a room. The place name underneath is
what the couple will actually say out loud.

A shared piece
Four cocktails named for the county. One of them is named for a sky the
Whitfields turned down — the only joke the suite tells.

The gang sheet
One approved design. One impression per guest.
Every impression below is the same delivered file — Place Cards — with a different guest's name set into it, exactly as it comes off a real run. Not a mock-up: it is the piece shown above, personalised by the same code. The names are examples, and they do not follow the panel — a real run does not stop to be typed.
18 guests shown across 3 sheets. A real list simply continues — one run, one file per guest, all one hundred and sixty-five of them.
The Living Invitation
The same card. And also a page.
At the guest's own link the platform renders The Invitation — this file, not a separate digital version — and draws a reply panel into it. On the left, as it prints: the container is empty and collapses. On the right, as it opens.
As it printsAs it opens at their link
The panel is injected by the platform, not drawn by the design — which is why the delivered file declares only the empty container, and why the printed card carries no trace of it.
What the direction refused
Six things that are not here.
A direction is as much what it turns down. This list was written when The Field Study was chosen, and every piece below holds to it.
Floral maximalism or garden party styling
Rustic wood-grain textures
Script typefaces or calligraphy fonts
Millennial blush or dusty rose
Generic western motifs (horseshoes, boots as icons)
Digital gradients or modern minimalism
What that is worth on the day
The part you cannot see from a photograph
165
Print files, not templates
One approved design becomes a personalised, print-ready file for every guest on the list — up to five hundred in a run, at the true trim size, with the backgrounds and the fonts the printer expects.
01
One code, two jobs
The code on a guest's reply card opens their own page. The same code, read at the door, marks them arrived — so the host knows who is in the room without a clipboard.
20
A chart that redraws itself
Move a guest between tables and the board is correct again. No re-typesetting, no asking the designer, no reprint of the wrong twenty names.
∞
The invitation is also a page
The same card, at the same guest's link, with a reply panel drawn into it. Not a separate digital version in a different style — the design itself, continued.
Before any of this, there were two worlds.
The Whitfields chose The Field Study over The Ranch Sky. Both were built in full before they decided.
