Fourteen pieces · Two carry a name

The finished suite

Fourteen pieces. And then one for every guest.

Every piece below is the delivered artwork, not a mock-up of it. The panel is live: put a name in it and watch each piece that carries a name take it, exactly as it does in a real print run.

The pieces that read the same for the whole room carry no name at all — and we say so.

The palette

Six colours. One world.

Ground#101812
Ground Deep#0B120E
Ground Raised#17211A
Ink#EFE9DC
Ink Dim#8A9188
Amber#E8962E

Not decoration — every one of these has a job, and they are the same inks the pieces below are printed in.

The voices

Two voices. One suite.

Envelope Sp. No. 01

What the platform sets

First contact. One gesture only — the gilded edge — and printed addressing. The liner delivers what this promises.

This piece already carried a guest's name — it shipped showing real ones. The platform simply sets each guest's own.

{{GUEST_NAME}}

Each guest's own code — live, and it scans. No piece in this suite carries a zone for it, so it reaches the guest through their personal link.

Format133 × 184 mm

Envelope Liner Sp. No. 02

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_01_envelope_liner_DirA.html
A shared piece

The room the window opens onto. No text at all — this one is felt, not read.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Save the Date Sp. No. 03

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_02_save_the_date_DirA.html
One design here

The hour, announced early. The mark and the date only; the venue detail is held back for the invitation.

Delivered here as one design. It is a piece the platform personalises per guest wherever a suite ships its platform edition.

The Invitation Sp. No. 04

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_invitation_card_DirA.html
One design here

What the save the date withheld. The house names itself, and the hour and the venue are finally set — on the trim the whole envelope is cut to. The mark is struck blind in the upper field and the wording sits low: one lit window, and nothing else on the card.

The Evening Sp. No. 05

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_12_order_of_evening_DirA.html
A shared piece

Four hours and no more, on the invitation's own trim so it travels in the same envelope. The copy states each hour and never sells it — nothing here invites, thanks or explains.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

The Composition Sp. No. 06

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_10_composition_card_DirA.html
A shared piece

The one piece that says what the product is: top, heart and base, one note to a line. It is read slowest, so it is decorated least — the mark at 12 mm, one gilded edge, one hairline.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Drinks Sp. No. 07

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_03_menu_DirA.html
One design here

Read at the bar over a whole evening, so the field is left clear. The house's own cocktail leads; the mark stays at the header and never enters the reading zone.

Format102 × 178 mm

Supper Sp. No. 08

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_04_supper_menu_DirA.html
One design here

The drinks card's twin, on the same tall narrow trim. Its sections are hours rather than courses — the evening is what a guest is following, and this world contains no course markers.

Place Card Sp. No. 09

Personalizable · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_05_place_card_DirA.html
What the platform sets

One name, the mark, and the same gilded edge as everything else — at 0.8 mm it cannot crowd the name.

This piece already carried a guest's name — it shipped showing real ones. The platform simply sets each guest's own.

Table Number Sp. No. 10

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_06_table_number_DirA.html
A shared piece

Read from across the room. The numeral is the whole design; the mark is set aside entirely.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Format89 × 51 mm

The Tables Sp. No. 11

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_11_table_plan_DirA.html
A shared piece

Forty-eight guests over eight tables, at A1 rather than the signage's board because it is read at arm's length by one guest looking for one name. The tables are numbered and not named, so a guest looks for the same numeral the table itself carries.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Thank You Sp. No. 12

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_07_thank_you_card_DirA.html
One design here

The window after the light has gone out — the one piece with no amber anywhere, on a warmer ground, with room left to write.

Format594 × 841 mm

Welcome Signage Sp. No. 13

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_09_welcome_signage_DirA.html
A shared piece

The invitation scaled up rather than a small piece blown up. The bloom is debossed into the panel at 266 mm.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Launch Page Sp. No. 14

Shared piece · Vesper_BrandLaunch_20260722_08_digital_launch_page_DirA.html
A shared piece

The card at screen scale: the page absorbs the light and the single amber event is the reply.

It reads the same for the whole room, so it prints once.

Format610 × 914 mm
The animated edition

The same card. And it moves.

Soft-touch black stock with a blind deboss — a card that absorbs light so its edge can give some back. A flat photograph of a debossed black card shows a flat black card; this is the only place the deboss is legible.

Delivered alongside the printed piece, from the same approved design. Silent, by house rule.

The gang sheet

One approved design. One impression per guest.

Every impression below is the same delivered file — Place Card — with a different guest's name set into it, exactly as it comes off a real run. Not a mock-up: it is the piece shown above, personalised by the same code. The names are examples.

12 guests shown across 12 sheets. A real list simply continues — one run, one file per guest.

The Living Invitation

The same card. And also a page.

At the guest's own link the platform renders The Invitation — this file, not a separate digital version — and adds a reply panel to it. On the left, as it prints, with no trace of the panel. On the right, as it opens.

As it prints
As it opens at their link

The panel is injected by the platform, not drawn by the design, and the printed card carries no trace of it. The right-hand state shows how it reads; for the platform to compose it into this piece, the file declares the empty container the Living Invitation expects.

What that is worth on the day

The part you cannot see from a photograph

14

Print files, not templates

The fourteen designs above are delivered as print-ready files — at the true trim size, with the backgrounds and the fonts the printer expects. The two that carry a name become a personalised file for every guest on the list.

02

Only what should carry a name

Two of the fourteen pieces carry a name. The rest read the same for the whole room, so they print once — and each one says so.

1:2

One code, two jobs

Each guest's own code opens their own page. The same code, read at the door, marks them arrived — so the host knows who is in the room without a clipboard.

1:∞

A chart that redraws itself

The table numbers above are generated from the event's own list, not typeset one at a time. The seating chart is drawn in the portal from that same list, so moving a guest between tables is a change of one field — not a new piece of artwork.

The invitation is also a page

The same card, at the same guest’s link, with a reply panel drawn into it. Not a separate digital version in a different style — the design itself, continued. It is further down this page, in both of its states.
