Nonie bought her first hand-painted glass ornament in 1959, from a shop on King Street that sold imported glass and closed in 1981. She bought one every year after that, and wrote the year on the cap in pencil. There are sixty-seven now. She left the box to us with a note that said only “keep buying them”. So we do. Two things worth knowing before you post.
Post after the invitations land. Replies are due back by 5 December, so the invitations go out
well ahead of that — wait about a week after they arrive.
Post the file as it is. No crop, no filter, no added frame. The pink is the whole point and it
is the first thing a filter shifts — and every platform re-compresses once, so anything done to it
first is compressed twice.
