Everything you have been sent is built from a very small number of decisions. They are written down here so that anything made for the night — a sign at the cage, a card on a bar — still belongs to the same room.
Black stock and opaque white ink. That is the palette, and the absence is the point: there is no metal anywhere in this suite, which for a casino night is the whole argument. The cold grey is a second register for the quieter line, never a third colour.
A cut shape — the front of a dress shirt, blind-debossed into the black so it is felt before it is seen. Aldo Sorrentino ran a formal-hire shop on Girard Avenue for forty-one years and rented dinner jackets to three generations of this city. He is in this suite as a maker, not as a memorial — no dates, no portrait, no black band, and nothing that reads as remembrance. The shirt is his trade, standing in the room.
Opaque white screen ink standing proud of heavy black duplex at 600 gsm, with a blind deboss on the shirt shape only. Everything about this night is cut — the clothes, the cards, the deck — and the paper is cut too, not drawn.
This is your event's visual identity. If you make anything yourselves, use these exact colours and these two typefaces — the restraint is the design.

Midnight — the stock itself · Opaque white — every word · Cold grey — the second register · Midnight, one shade up · The deboss shadow, in that order.
Bodoni Moda and Jost are both free and open-source, and both are on Google Fonts — search the name, install the family, or pick it straight from the font menu in Canva, Google Docs or Word. You do not need a licence and you do not need to ask us.
These colours were read off your delivered pieces rather than from a locked palette file — if you want them confirmed against the press proof, ask the studio.
