The net loft has been empty since 2009. It is where the crews mended and dried their gear, and I have wanted it since I was about eleven — I grew up four streets up the hill. My grandparents kept a market garden at Rinsey and my mother sold it off a trestle at the top of the slip. One of the tables carries that name, and the asparagus is in season the week we open. Marram is the grass on the dunes at Loe Bar. It is not much to look at, nothing else will grow there, and it is the only reason the whole bank does not blow away. 21 May · The Net Loft, Commercial Road · Porthleven
Two things worth knowing before you post.
Post after the invitations land. Replies are due back by 7 May, so the invitations go out well
ahead of that — wait about a week after they arrive.
Post the file as it is. No crop, no filter, no added frame. These are watercolour drawings on
warm paper and a filter turns them into something else — and every platform re-compresses once, so
anything done to it first is compressed twice.
