Everything you have been sent is built from a very small number of decisions. They are written down here so that anything you make yourselves — a sign at the gate, a card on the bar, a note on a towel — still belongs to the same afternoon.
Five, and no more. Sand cream is the ground of everything; terracotta is the loud one and is the only colour the crest is ever printed in. Aqua is the pool and is used as flat area, never as type. The brass yellow is the dessert cart — once per piece at most.
A sunburst, drawn as the crest of a hotel that does not exist. The whole suite reads as a guest folio for Hotel Mirada, a 1962 desert hotel invented out of your own villa. The crest sits centred and owns about three quarters of the card — it is never repeated, never tiled, and never shrunk into a corner as a logo. One per surface, large, or not at all.
Flat digital offset on rigid heavyweight board, corners rounded. Nothing here is laminated, foiled or embossed: the flatness is the 1962 reference, and a printer offering to “lift” it with a gloss or a texture has misunderstood the piece.
This is your event's visual identity. If you make anything yourselves, use these exact colours and these two typefaces — the restraint is the design.
