The colours
Unbleached, never white. The terracotta appears once per piece as a band at
the foot and never carries words. No gold, copper or any metal anywhere.
The typefaces
EB Garamond for names, dates and dishes. Jost in letter-spaced small capitals for venues,
times and labels. No script lettering anywhere.

Day-of notes
- Venue character. A working cork and olive estate — whitewashed walls with ochre trim, a
centuries-old threshing floor for dancing, long tables under holm oaks. The stationery is drawn from
exactly this: the ochre band on every piece is the estate's own wall trim.
- Seating chart. Framed board or acrylic, 610 × 914mm, at the entrance. Head table is Monsaraz.
- Welcome signage. 610 × 914mm board, read from about six feet.
- Dinner. Served family-style at long tables — one shared menu card per place setting, not
individual course cards.
- Midnight. Caldo verde by the fire at half past eleven.
- What not to bring. No pastel watercolour, no eucalyptus or generic greenery sprigs, no gold or
copper, no kraft paper or twine. The couple were explicit about this.
